After delaying ECER until fall it was clear that only a smaller, less international event could take place. We set the date for September 28th to 30th and to fit expectations to the circumstances renamed the event to “RoboCoop Student Conference in Austria” (RSCA). HTL St Pölten kindly offered to host the event. (more…)

The health and safety of our participants is of course our top priority, which is why we are reacting to the current COVID-19 situation and rescheduling the European Conference on Educational Robotics (ECER) 2020 to September/Octobe. The exact week will be announced shortly. (more…)

Digitization has moved into almost all areas of our lives and is changing all aspects of education: from school management to the further education of educators to the actual teaching and the methods and means used there (more…)

The Makers @ School project brings new technologies and the world of makers directly into the school developing a sustainable environment. The students can go through a complete innovation cycle up to the finished prototype, starting with their own ideas and developing and demonstrating creativity and potential. (more…)

The project “Pflanzenwerkstatt” aims – according to a paradigm shift in the production and handling of food – together with pupils to find and expire a modern and urban approach for crop production. The focus is on hydroponics, where the students – supported by scientists – can elaborate the principles of these technologies. (more…)

The project KnowDrift applies a knowledge intensive cyber-physical systems (CPS) approach for realising an innovative automated robotic system to overcome limitations of the state-of-the-art solutions. The usage of machine-interpretable semantics (ontologies) to describe the concepts of manufacturing systems overcomes current interoperability barriers and enables intelligent software components to perform reasoning and infer sufficient knowledge to interact. (more…)

The iBridge project is a cross-generational project aimed at increasing the interest of children and pupils in the social and cross-cultural research topics and innovation as well as deepening their relationship to science through the application of robotics in the elderly care technologies.
